It's always a pleasure working in Miami Beach, but even more so working with a long time influence for me, Ricardo Rodriguez. I have been listening to him since I was very young, so when I got called by Gustavo Ortega to write a script and direct the video for his new single "Huele a Lluvia", needless to say I was stoked.

Working under a very tight schedule of 24 hours, and a cast of 5 actors (including a new born), we were still able to film in this unpredictable South Florida weather and pack a storyline along with performance. Even though it didn't quite rain when we needed it to, we were still able to get "rain" and film in the busy streets of downtown Miami, get amazing drone shots, a cemetery, recreate a park scene, a house scene and a loft in the art district for performance! 

The result is a story of hope, an iconic voice and images South Florida that we all love. Thank you Gustavo Ortega for this amazing video and Ricardo Rodriguez for the trust.
